CIMB Foundation sponsored squash player Ng Eain Yow and compatriot S. Sivasangari stormed into the quarter-finals of Squash in the Land event in Cleveland with clinical performance on Wednesday (March 6). Bristol-based Eain Yow, who had received a first-round bye, did not face any issues, overcoming Velavan Senthilkumar of India 11-6, 11-9, 11-2 in a 39-minute second round clash. It was Eain Yow's first quarter-final appearance of the year, after preliminary round exits from the Tournament of Champions (TOC) in New York in January and the Windy City Open in Chicago two weeks ago. The Malaysian has not been playing in too many tournaments this year due to his commitment as a final semester of business management student at the University of West England (UWE). World No. 19 Eain Yow will play Lionel Cardenas of Mexico in the quarter-finals.
