The National Disaster Management Agency (NADMA) continues to play a crucial role in assisting flood victims by distributing 2,500 sets of essential supplies to the Bintulu Division Disaster Management Committee (JPBB) for distribution to those affected.

 

This contribution is part of the GLC Demi Rakyat dan Negara (GDRN), or GLC Disaster Relief Mission for the People and the Nation, Sarawak initiative, which aims to ensure that flood victims receive immediate assistance to meet their basic needs.

 

The handover of aid took place at Naim Paragon Bintulu on Saturday (February 15), with the Deputy Resident of Bintulu Division, Abang Zainuddin Abang Turkey, representing the Resident of Bintulu Division and Chairman of JPBB, Datuk Nyurak Keti, in receiving the contribution.

 

Each recipient will receive a box set containing necessities such as an electric kettle, a rice cooker, two blankets, two towels, two sarongs, and an additional thick Narita blanket.

 

This aid is also supported by various corporate entities, including CIMB Foundation, Khazanah Nasional, Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (KWAP), Tabung Haji, Malaysia Airports, MASKargo, Maybank, Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB), Yayasan Hasanah, Yayasan PETRONAS, Yayasan Sime Darby, Yayasan TM, and Yayasan UEM, in collaboration with RED A Humanitarian Development Global.
