Our Projects

Launched in 2007, Community Link is CIMB Foundation’s flagship community development platform that links our large network of CIMB Bank and CIMB Islamic Bank branches nationwide with the local communities. 

 

Employees, customers and communities across our branch network propose community projects they would like CIMB Foundation to support and to cover the cost of implementation.

 

Employees also have the opportunity to engage in voluntary work in these programmes, and building strong relationships with communities across the nation.

Be$mart is our financial literacy programme for vulnerable youths across Malaysia. Through Be$mart, we aim to build a foundation for the younger generations and help them achieve their financial goals. 

The CIMB ASEAN Scholarship is our commitment to fostering the next generation of ASEAN change-makers. The scholarship is open to ASEAN students and provides them with the opportunity to pursue tertiary education at top-tier institutions of their choice.

Our Back to School programme aims to bring joy and uplift the lives of underprivileged school children in Malaysia. We distribute kits comprising uniforms, shoes, and other school necessities to help the students and their families prepare for the new school year.

CIMB Foundation brings joy to diverse underserved communities during Malaysia's significant festive celebrations, spreading happiness and cheer through a variety of events and activities.
