Our People

Rositah joined CIMB in 1993 and has about 30 years banking experience covering Corporate Banking, Treasury FX, Offshore Banking, International Offices and Remittance Sales. She had always been passionate about communities and environmental protection, and joined CIMB Foundation / Corporate Responsibility in May 2021 to focus full time on driving positive impacts across communities. Rositah holds a Bachelor of Economics (major in Accounting) from La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia.

Noor Ali joined CIMB in 2014 and is currently an Vice President in the Corporate Responsibility Department, and he leads the Community Investment team comprising all the Project Managers.  In his role, he oversees and supervises the end to end of CSR programmes, including identifying community needs, planning, strategising, collaborating and monitoring implementation of programmes and their impacts, in alignment with CIMB Group’s CSR direction to ultimately contribute to positive impacts to the community.

Prior to joining CIMB, he has had a 13 year working experience from his various positions whilst working with Bank Negara Malaysia.

Abdul Rashid has served CIMB Foundation for about 15 years with special focus on sports development previously, and firmly believes in the transformative power of sports. He is also passionate on community initiatives to empower communities economically and to foster a sustainable and inclusive society.  He hopes to continue his dedication to contribute to meaningful impacts to the lives of individuals and communities in need.

Eugene is one of the founding team members of CIMB Foundation, having more than 16 years of experience in identifying and implementing CSR programmes for the Foundation, and is especially passionate in empowering people with disabilities (PWDs) to be high achievers. 

He was active in implementing CIMB Foundation’s Community Link programme in Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, and Cambodia from 2010 to 2012, and was involved in the Junior Sports Development Programme from 2013 to 2016 i.e. overseeing programmes for junior squash, junior golf, junior football, as well as sports development for PWDs.  From 2017 to 2022, he was active with the Community Link programme and worked closely with CIMB’s branch network in Malaysia to implement sustainable and impactful programmes for the communities where we operate.

Chiau Ling has been a team member since 2011.  She started her role with managing community programmes and changed roles halfway to support the finance and administration of the Foundation, prior to her return to community investment in 2021.  She finds championing community-related causes a highly noble job that gives tremendous fulfillment, and she fully enjoys being part of the team in helping to make a difference and giving back to society.

Aainaa Amran is a Assistant Vice President in the Corporate Responsibility Department, whose main focus is on Education. She has 9 years of experience in Macroeconomics research. She believes in the importance of exploring social issues and hopes to bridge education gaps in the communities she serves.

Aainaa graduated with a Master in Economics from University of Malaya and a Bachelor of Economics from International Islamic University Malaysia.

“Be Adaptable & Open to Change” says Resa.

With 70% of her career lying within the financial industry, Resa managed to dive into many different business functions across CIMB Bank, and is currently responsible for finance and governance related matters for Corporate Responsibility department and CIMB Foundation.

Resa is a qualified Chartered Banker by the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers (AICB), a globally recognised professional banking body. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Business Administration from Bolton University United Kingdom, as well as having earned a First Class in the Pitman Secretarial and Administration Diploma, London. She recently obtained certification in Anti-Money Laundering & Counter Financing of Terrorism through AICB.

Evelyn is the newbie in Corporate Responsibility Department, after 16 years serving in CIMB’s Consumer Banking and Group Operations.

Her move is aligned with her interests and objectives in helping communities, and to have a positive and meaningful impacts on their lives.  

She provides strong and highly enthusiastic behind the scenes support on finance and governance related matters for CIMB Foundation, as well as on Employee Volunteerism for CIMB Group, whereby CIMB employees leverages on their time and skills to make meaningful contributions to society, and spending over 100,000 hours annually.
