The Director of Jishan Food Bank Programme Goh Teck Kuan called on large enterprises to regularly engage in social aid work and establish their own social value. The director said that in the past, companies would participate in social responsibility activities (CSR) under the encouragement of the government, supporting various social causes through activities such as environmental campaigns, educational assistance programmes, and charitable events. "The government should encourage enterprises to define their own social value and contributions. When small and medium enterprises provide economic assistance, the government can offer financial aid based on the company's social value," he said. The director made this appeal during a resident assistance event hosted by CIMB Bank in Permas Jaya, where 30 families received food supplies. He expressed gratitude to CIMB Foundation for sponsoring some of the development programmes of the Jishan Welfare Association, such as the Jishan Food Bank Programme's cancer patient visit activity and the i-Dapur Programme supporting single mothers.
