CIMB Kuala Lipis branch partnered with Majlis Belia Daerah Kuala Lipis for The Rock Melon Agriculture programme that aims to channel proceeds from the sale of the rock melon harvests to the Pertubuhan Anak-Anak Yatim Islam Al-Ihsan Daerah Lipis. 2000 trees were planted in November 2017. Each cycle takes 70 days from plant to harvest, and each tree bears only one fruit. The first harvest produced a 3-tonne yield of rock melons.

 

Total Beneficiaries: 30 youths
