Who we are

We are a non-profit organisation set up to implement CIMB Group’s corporate social responsibility and philanthropic initiatives.

What we believe in

We believe in long-term sustainable growth and giving back to society. Our initiatives are aimed empowering communities in a transparent, measurable and accountable way to enable them to stand on their own.

What we focus on

We focus on three specific areas: Community Development, Sports and Education. In 2008, we approved grants amounting to RM8.5 million in more than 130 projects covering these 3 areas.

Accountability and transparency
We are committed to the highest standards of governance, accountability and transparency. Rigorous accountability controls, communications and operational processes will be imposed to ensure decision making is transparent to all our various stakeholders.

Innovation
We acknowledge that the needs of individuals and communities are diverse, dynamic and differ from one another, and look to innovative solutions to fulfil these needs.

Integrity and respect
We are governed by the basic principles of honesty, integrity and fairness. We respect our stakeholders and are accountable to them in discharging our responsibilities.

Sustainability and impact
We ensure that our grants go towards sustainable projects which emphasise capacity building for communities.
